A List of Young Living Essential Oils Classes Offered Throughout the United States

Young Living Essential Oils Class

When I began puchasing Young Living essential oils, I did so from a blog like mine. I never attended a Young Living essential oils class and I never met my “upline” before beginning my essential oils journey. Although I was comfortable with that (and most of my current members have also purchased Young Living essential oils from me this same way), I know there are still many people out there who want to meet someone in person and/or attend a live class first.

Young Living is offering several live essential oils classes throughout the United States! Click HERE to view the locations, dates, times, and curriculum for each class.

For those of you who want to attend a live essential oils class, I have such an amazing opportunity for you! Young Living is offering SEVERAL essential oils classes throughout the United States. The best part is that many of them that are being offered this spring are right here in my neck of the woods…in Wisconsin (although there are still many in other states)! I am so excited about this!! Some of these are introduction classes while others offer more in depth essential oils training. I will most certainly be attending some of the classes (because I love learning) so if you’ll be there, let me know! :)

You can attend these classes and still purchase essential oils from the Young Living distributor of your choosing!

You can attend these classes and still purchase essential oils from the Young Living distributor of your choosing. Therefore, feel free to attend one of these classes and come right back HERE to purchase your oils. When you purchase the Premium Starter Kit and use me as your referral source, I will send you a free 400+ page reference guide and 2 colorful roller bottles (the rollers are while my supplies last). Plus, all of my Wholesale Members gain exclusive access to our Oil Moxie website and Facebook community!

If you are allowed to purchase Young Living essential oils right at a class, feel free to do so by using my Enroller and Sponsor ID # 1583415 (that’s how you get the free gifts and access to Oil Moxie with your Premium Starter Kit purchase). I would love to have you join me on this journey!

30 Essential Oil Tips for Summer – Featuring the Premium Starter Kit

The Premium Starter Kit & 30 Summertime Essential Oil Tips

Although I really enjoy winter (yes, I actually said that I like winter), I have to admit that there is a part of me that is looking forward to the warm summer weather. Even though we’re still months away from summer and it’s still kind of cold here in Wisconsin (it’s actually supposed to snow here tonight), I started thinking about the many ways I’ve used my essential oils during the summer. There are a lot of essential oils that offer benefits during the summertime, but I thought that I should write about the oils featured in the Premium Starter Kit first. Why? Because if you haven’t joined in on this essential oil craze, the Premium Starter Kit is the best way to get started. And if you’re like I was, you might need to mull it over for a little while or save up a little money before you are ready to purchase your kit (which is well worth it by the way). Alright, here we go! 30 essential oil tips for summer –  featuring the oils from the Premium Starter Kit!

If you have seen this before, yes, it used to be 50 (not 30) summertime tips. I had to revamp this post a bit to remain compliant with Young Living’s product usage and descriptions.

Summer uses for Young Living’s Peppermint essential oil:

  1. Take a drop internally to support proper digestion after summertime BBQs.
  2. Add a drop to water to cool down on a hot day.

Summer uses for Young Living’s Purification essential oil:

  1. Diffuse -OR- add 2-3 drops to your vacuum filter to neutralize stale odors. This is perfect for spring cleaning!
  2. Add a few drops to the washing machine (or to a rag during the drying cycle) to freshen laundry – OR- add 5-10 drops to a spray bottle with water and spritz on your bed sheets/towels just before hanging them outside to dry (shake before use).
  3. Run an extension cord out to your deck/patio and diffuse Purification to enjoy the outdoors annoyance free.
  4. Add 10 drops to a small spray bottle with water and spritz onto the skin and clothes – OR – apply a couple of drops to the wrists and ankles as another way to naturally enjoy the outdoors annoyance free.

Summer uses for Young Living’s Lavender essential oil:

  1. Add 1-3 drops to lotion to soothe sun-kissed skin.
  2. Apply a drop behind your dog’s ears to help calm and relax your pet during car rides, thunderstorms, or fireworks.
  3. Diffuse or rub 1-3 drops on the wrists, behind the ears, on the back of the neck, and/or the bottom of the feet to promote a restful nights sleep after a long day of summertime fun.
  4. Add 1-2 drops to the washing machine (or to a rag during the drying cycle) to freshen laundry.

Summer uses for Young Living’s Lemon essential oil:

  1. Add 1-2 drops to water for a refreshing, hydrating beverage.
  2. Add 1-2 drops to your favorite summertime smoothie.
  3. If you forgot the limes for your backyard BBQ, no worries! Just add 1 drop of Lemon essential oil to a vodka tonic for a refreshing adult beverage. :)
  4. Naturally clean fresh fruit and vegetables by immersing them in a bowl of cool water and 2-3 drops of Lemon essential oil.

*Lemon is photosensitive.

Summer uses for Young Living’s Thieves essential oil:

  1. Combine 2-3 parts water, 1 part white vinegar, and 10 drops Thieves essential oil in a spray bottle. Use this homemade mixture to clean kitchen surfaces before and after summer BBQ parties (shake before use).
  2. Take a drop internally to support the immune and respiratory system – because you shouldn’t just support these body systems in the winter!

Summer uses for Young Living’s Frankincense essential oil:

  1. When your kids are rough housing, rub 1-2 drops on the bottom on of your feet to help alleviate the nervous energy they cause you. :)
  2. Moisten a cotton pad with witch hazel and add 1-2 drops of essential oil. Use as a daily facial cleanser and toner. You can also try this with Lavender, Purification, or Tea Tree oil!
  3. Apply 1-3 drops to the face to smooth your summertime glow.
  4. Apply 1-3 drops to the temples and on the back of the neck to refocus at work (because we would all rather be outside than at work).

Summer uses for Young Living’s PanAway essential oil:

  1. Dilute and apply 1-3 drops to to muscles to soothe and comfort them. Try this after swimming, hiking, yard work, etc.
  2. Rub a drop on the temples and forehead when your kiddos are driving you bonkers.

Summer uses for Young Living’s Citrus Fresh essential oil:

  1. Diffuse for a clean, fresh, and uplifting summertime scent.
  2. Wear 1-3 drops for a beautiful and fragrant perfume or cologne to refresh and inspire.

*Citrus Fresh is photosensitive.

Summer uses for Young Living’s Stress Away essential oil:

  1. Diffuse to stay calm, cool, and collected while your kiddos demand more of your attention during their summer break from school. :)
  2. Attach the roller ball and roll onto the, wrists, back of neck, and/or behind the ears to wind down before bedtime.

Summer uses for Young Living’s Joy essential oil:

  1. Diffuse, inhale, or apply 1-3 drops to the wrists and/or behind the ears to uplift the mood – because we all have bad days no matter the time of the year.

*Joy is photosensitive.

Summer uses for Young Living’s Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) essential oil:

  1. Apply 1-3 drops to the face to beautify the appearance of your skin after sweating all day.
  2. Support already healthy looking toenails by applying a few drops to the nail beds twice daily.
  3. Use 10 drops to make a kitchen and bathroom DIY hand soap for all that summertime dirt and grime.

Mailbox Remedies: My March 2015 Young Living Essential Rewards Order

Mailbox Remedies - My March 2015 Essential Rewards Order

My Young Living Essential Rewards order came last week! YESSSS! I have a few new products in my order this month and I’m excited to tell you all about them! I love my mailbox remedies! :)

NingXia Nitro:

NingXia Nitro comes in super cute 20 ml tubes. They remind me of those 5 Hour Energy shots, but better! Each tube contains 40 mg of caffeine, B vitamins, a special form of D-ribose, and a blend called Nitro Alert (which includes vanilla, chocolate, Yerba mate, spearmint, peppermint, nutmeg, and black pepper oil in a base of wolfberry seed oil). I bought NingXia Nitro to clear the mind, enhance mental fitness, and provide a boost of energy for a daily pick me up.

Thieves mouthwash:

I started using the Thieves toothpaste a couple of months ago and I loved it so much that I just had to try the Thieves mouthwash. This mouthwash does not contain any dyes, alcohol, saccharin, synthetic flavors, or preservatives. I couldn’t wait to use this stuff and let me say that I LOVE it! It made my mouth feel so fresh and clean. The Thieves mouthwash does have quite a kick to it so if you end up trying it, take a very small sip versus a big mouthful of it – a little goes a very long way!

Thieves household cleaner:

I started using Young Living’s Thieves household cleaner a couple of months ago. This stuff works great, smells amazing, and is cheaper and safer than many other cleaners! We still have some of our first bottle left, but I wanted to be sure we have a back up bottle. You can read more about the Thieves household cleaner here.

SleepEssence:

I work somewhat of a swing shift and when I come home at 8:30/9:00 at night, I work on my Young Living business for a couple of hours. As you might imagine, I have a hard time shutting my mind off late at night. I decided to give the SleepEssence supplement a try (along with my regular routine of rolling Tranquil on my wrists and behind my ears before I go to bed). SleepEssence is a combination of lavender, vetiver, valerian, and Ruta graveolens essential oil (all of these oils have soothing, calming, and relaxing properties to them). SleepEssence also contains melatonin, a hormone that is naturally produced in the body to regulate the sleep/wake cycle.

Valor bar soap:

I’ve written about the Young Living bar soaps before and it’s no secret that I’ll never go back to store-bought brands of soap and body wash. The Thieves bar soap is my favorite, but I like to try a new scent sometimes. I decided to order Valor this time around.

Lemon essential oil:

You can’t go wrong with Lemon essential oil. Lemon oil has a refreshing, uplifting, and energizing scent. It makes a perfect addition to water or my morning smoothies.

Abundance essential oil:

Abundance is one of my favorite Young Living essential oil blends. It was formulated to create a law of attraction with prosperity and plenitude. We can all use a little of that, right?! I diffused Abundance last time I hit up the casino with my girlfriend lol! I didn’t win at bingo, but I did come pretty darn close (I had the next number that was up on the screen, but somebody won just before I would have).

Peace & Calming essential oil:

Peace & Calming essential oil is another one of my favorite Young Living essential oil blends. It smells amazing and does a great job of promoting a sense of calm and relaxation. This oil doesn’t just work on people – it works on pets too! Our dogs lay right by the diffuser and totally zonk out when we have Peace & Calming diffusing. We even apply a drop behind our dogs’ ears before bedtime. It works great!

Marjoram essential oil:

I got Marjoram oil for free this month as part of the March promo. I love trying new oils!

Idaho Balsam Fir essential oil:

I also received Idaho Balsam Fir for free this month as part of the March promo. I’ve used Idaho Balsam Fir before and am glad I got another one because my original is almost gone. I use Idaho Balsam Fir to soothe muscles, chest, and throat. This oil also promotes feelings of grounding and empowerment.

LET ME BE VERY CLEAR! —> This is NOT your typical Facebook Essential Oils 101 Class! A Facebook essential oils class usually consists of MANY pictures and posts (sometimes way too many to keep track of), which tend to require a lot of reading on your part. Personally, I think that gets a little boring so I’ve decided to do my class differently. I’m hoping that you’ll be more attentive and able to retain way more info than you would from a typical Facebook class. :)

Here’s how to join my class:

If you are interested in joining my Facebook Essential Oils 101 Class, simply click here (or on the graphic below). Be sure to come back to that same Facebook event page on Sunday, March 15 from 7-8 pm CST to watch and learn. See you there!

How To Make An Essential Oil Diffuser Necklace

Inhalation of essential oils is extremely beneficial for our health. Wearing a diffuser necklace with your favorite Young Living essential oil is a great way to combine style and function into one. A diffuser necklace also makes a great gift. Wondering how to make an essential oil diffuser necklace? Read on for an awesome DIY tutorial – I had a lot of fun getting back to my crafty side! :)

How To Make An Essential Oil Diffuser Necklace

What you need to make your own DIY essential oil diffuser necklace:

  • Necklace chain in the length, style, and color of your choosing from a hobby/craft store. I chose a 30 inch chain in an antique brass color. It already had a clasp attached and cost $3.99.
  • Locket/diffuser pendant to match your style from a hobby/craft store. I chose an antique brass filigree heart locket. It included a jump ring for attachment to a necklace chain. I lucked out with a 50% off sale and got my locket for just $1.49!
  • Jazz it up with charms, (also from a hobby/craft store). I chose a wing and charm pendant set in antique brass and silver. The set included a jump ring to attach it to a necklace chain. I also got this for 50% off – it cost me only $1.73!
  • A small piece of felt, leather, or suede (cut small enough to fit inside the locket/diffuser pendant).
  • Tiny pliers or a jewelry tool to tighten the jump rings of your jewelry pieces to your necklace chain.
  • 1-2 drops of your favorite Young Living essential oil. I’ve been using Clarity essential oil blend in my necklace. Clarity helps increase energy and enhance the ability to focus – a perfect essential oil blend to inhale at work or while I’m blogging! Smells great too!

Supplies To Make Essential Oil Diffuser Necklace

How to put a diffuser necklace together:

  1. It will take very little time and effort to put your diffuser necklace together. Simply loosen the jump ring on the locket/diffuser pendant and thread it through so that it attaches to the necklace chain. Tighten the jump ring with a tiny pliers or jewelry tool. Do the same with the charm/s that you bought.
  2. Place the small piece of felt, leather, or suede inside the locket/diffuser pendant.

How do you use a diffuser necklace?

Simply apply 1-2 drops of your favorite essential oil to the small piece of felt, leather, or suede and place in the locket/diffuser pendant of your necklace. The scent of some essential oils will last for quite a long time, while others will fade more quickly and will need to be re-applied.
